As a member of the Institute’s team, my goal and mission is to provide comprehensive support to girls and young women as they develop and grow into resilient, empowered, and compassionate adults. I do this through psychoeducation, consultation, and assessments as well as through group, individual, and family therapy. Similarly, I strive to provide effective and clear support, tools, and resources for parents to support their daughters. My varied training and experiences, both in outpatient and school settings, allow me to provide specialized and empirically driven interventions to girls at home, in school, and within the community.
Specialties: Here at the institute I often work with elementary school aged girls and their parents as they face a wide range of challenges. I have extensive experience providing treatment in outpatient and school settings for children and adolescents who experience strong emotions, anxiety, selective mutism, or may engage in challenging behaviors. I have experience supporting kids with attention and learning differences and work with girls as they build friendship skills and self-confidence.
Additionally, I have training and experience in providing:
• evidence based intervention for individuals, groups, and families using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT),
behavior therapy, Parent Management Training (PMT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
• comprehensive neuropsychological, psychoeducational, behavioral, and personality assessment
• school based services including developing and consulting on Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans,
school consultation, school training and psychoeducation of school personnel, school based intervention
