KARIN R. LAWSON, PSY.D., Licensed Psychologist, (PSY23438): My passions are to foster healthier relationships with others and with ourselves. I utilize mind-body and expressive approaches, which many times can even be fun! I am enthusiastic about the topics of body image, stress management and wellness. At the Institute I provide individual, group and family therapy, as well as community workshops. My approach focuses on strengths and resiliency while building coping skills. Specialties: Eating disorders and body image struggles; Healing from traumatic life experiences; Anxiety and depression using mindfulness and biofeedback games. Education: Bachelor of Arts, Oklahoma Baptist University; Master of Science in Counseling Psychology: Southern Nazarene University; Master of Science, Clinical Psychology: Nova Southeastern University; Doctorate, Psychology: Nova Southeastern University.
