KARIN R. LAWSON, PSY.D., Psychological Assistant (PSB 34885): My passions are to foster healthier relationships with others and with ourselves. I utilize mind-body and expressive approaches, which many times can even be fun! I am enthusiastic about the topics of body image, stress management and wellness. At the Institute I provide individual, group and family therapy, as well as community workshops. My approach focuses on strengths and resiliency while building coping skills. Supervised by Dr. Melissa Johnson, Licensed Psychologist (PSY 13102). Specialties: Eating disorders and body image struggles; Healing from traumatic life experiences; Anxiety and depression using mindfulness and biofeedback games.
