Our workshops, groups, and trainings are fun, educational, and skill-building! Girls, educators, and parents walk away with tools they can use right away. Ongoing weekly groups for girls at school: Year long or semester long groups meet weekly during lunch, as part of a class, or as part of a program in which girls are periodically excused from class to participate. These extended groups offer girls a chance to really connect with their peers, explore important issues, and have fun while building and practicing empowering skills. Short term groups: These fun, skill-building groups focus on a specific theme and meet for 4 10 sessions. Workshops/Presentations: Girls meet with one of our expert workshop leaders for a single session on a specific theme as part of a class, school wide or after-school program. Training/In-service for teachers, staff, and program providers: We are available to provide trainings on a variety of topics related to girls’ development and issues. Many of our trainings can be provided in conjunction with workshops for girls. This supports your school or organizational community with rich information and hands-on tools for all involved. Parent Education: Parents are eager to learn more about girls’ development and how they can promote hardiness in their daughter’s lives. We offer a range of programs that can be provided independently or in conjunction with our workshops for girls. Back to Info for Schools and Community Organizations
