Marissa Lee, M.A.
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFC 44094)
Clinical Director of DBT Program
Over the last twelve years I have been privileged to help children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples experience greater satisfaction in their lives and relationships. I have extensive experience helping adolescents and adults learn the skills they need to stay grounded during emotional ups and downs and develop a more satisfying approach to life. I am experienced in helping people struggling with suicidal ideation, self-injury, and other high-risk behaviors develop stability and move forward into having a life worth living. I am passionate about supporting and coaching family members as they strive to have more fulfilling relationships with one another, and I am skilled at providing parent coaching, family therapy, and couples therapy. I also have experience connecting with children through play and helping them work through their struggles by developing a stronger belief in their own worth and abilities, a deeper connection with others, and the skills they need to navigate their emotions and social interactions more effectively. I particularly enjoy empowering parents to connect with their children and teens in new ways that allow them to enhance family communication and bring about healing in difficult situations. I have received postmasters training and supervision in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy, and Play Therapy.
