Community Education Workshop Facilitator

Pronouns: She / Her / Hers

As a college student, I understand and often experience many of the difficulties we discuss in our workshops at the Institute.   It’s very important to me that we create a safe space to confront these issues.

It’s essential for girls to understand their own strengths and capabilities and to know how much change they can create in their own environments.  I attended the workshops I now help to facilitate when I was younger, so I know that helping to empower girls from a young age matters – and it creates change.

Other Experience:  I’m very passionate about empowering women.  Outside of the Institute, I work with Change the Talk, a peer-to-peer sexual violence education program. I also spent the summer at Georgetown University in a social justice and public policy immersion program.
