Community Education Workshop Facilitator

Pronouns: She/Her/Hers

My interest in supporting girls comes from working in spaces where empathy, communication, and trust truly matter. Whether I’m volunteering in a hospital, mentoring younger students, or helping peers feel welcomed at school, I’ve learned how powerful it is to show up calmly and compassionately for others. I’m especially interested in psychology and emotional well-being, and I hope to continue learning how confidence, identity, and mental health shape the way girls see themselves and the world around them.

Through my involvement in leadership, service, and student organizations, I’ve seen how important it is for girls to feel safe, represented, and supported. Being part of the Institute for Girls’ Development allows me to combine my passion for psychology with my commitment to creating inclusive spaces where girls can speak openly, build self-confidence, and support one another.

Other Experiences:

I volunteer at Huntington Hospital, where I support patients and families in high-pressure situations, and assist with patient transport. I also serve as a Teen Lead at St. Bede, mentoring younger students and guiding discussions that encourage reflection, growth, and community.

At school, I am a member of BRIDGE, Black Student Union, and Latino Club, where I contribute to initiatives focused on belonging, cultural awareness, and inclusion. I serve as Secretary of the Psychology Club and as a Student Ambassador, helping welcome new students and foster a positive school environment.

Education:

Flintridge Preparatory School

Mission:

I hope to create supportive, welcoming spaces where girls feel confident expressing themselves, building meaningful connections, and growing into strong, thoughtful, and empowered individuals.
