  • April 5 – Self-Defense Workshop: a self-defense workshop for teens and women led by Lauren Roselle of Esteem.
  • April 26 – Get Social Media Savvy: a social media workshop for middle-school girls and their parents.
  • April 30 – Avenging the Patriarchy: a free screening and discussion of the educational documentary “Normalization of Rape Culture in Popular Film.”
  • May 7, June 25, & July 9 – Cliques, Conflicts, Connections: a free talk for parents led by Dr. Melissa Johnson. Interested in having your daughter attend one of our Stand Up! Speak Out!® Summer Workshops? This is a great way to learn about our approach to empowering girls in their friendships. You’ll learn tips and tools for helping your daughter navigate her social world through connected activities for your family. Dr. Johnson and Paige Hobey, Director of Community Education and Outreach, will be available to answer additional questions about our summer workshops.
